ENJOY THIS EPISODE:
Shari Auldridge has had a passion for Staging and interior design from a young age. Shari used to travel as a Military BRAT with her father being in the Air Force and Shari and her mom would view Model Homes that is where her love of Staging started.
Having grown up moving with her family from location to location Shari knows just what it takes to prepare a home properly and even takes some of her personal stories and experiences with her on her Staging Appointments.
The most unique place that Shari lived while growing up in the military was a 4 year stint in Japan from 2nd grade to 5th grade. Shari then tells us of the little things that we take for granite like K-Mart and McDonalds when her family’s next stop was back in Texas.
Staged Above has been around for 3 years and the biggest hurdle that Shari has encountered in her journey of business owner/Entrepreneur has been balancing the role of mother and business owner. With 4 kids, ranging from 9 to 18, and a successful business it is with the support of her husband that she is able to juggle such a busy schedule.
Shari not only does vacant Staging, where she will bring in furniture and finishings to a home to make it show and photograph well but she also does occupied consults with home owners that are getting ready to sell and need to get that ‘buyer’s eye’ for potential buyers. Shari’s bedside manner with sellers is one that is easy going as she always takes time to let the homeowner know WHY a particular piece of furniture must be moved or artwork be added to the wall.
If you want to learn more Shari and even see some before and after pictures check her out at www.StagedAbove.com or find her on Facebook.
