Sean Quill explains how after nearly 2 decades in the corporate world he took the plunge to running his own insurance agency in Frederick 3 years ago in the Spring of 2012. Sean, having grown up in Frederick county, first being raised near the Urbana area and then later in the Union Bridge area and graduating from Walkersville and then choosing to raise his family in Frederick has roots that run deep locally.
After graduating from Frostburg in depressed job market in the late 1990s, Sean took a ‘sabbatical’ to Colorado where he worked on a ranch and honed one of his passions, Skiing. Sean returned to Frederick County, this time landing an account services job. He worked his way up the corporate ladder becoming a commercial lender with Farmers and Mechanics Bank. After that Sean landed a job with Sandy Spring Bank where he was a commercial lender until 2012.
Sean had known his insurance agent since he was growing up in Frederick and when the opportunity for him to hand-pick his successor Sean was at the top of his list. Sean, with the support of his wife Heather and two daughters, Khloe and Kampbell took the plunge into running his own business and becoming an Entrepreneur.
Sean explains how you need to be careful of your insurance policy and that you want to make sure that you are adequately insured for your home, auto, and life. Being under-insured is a liability that could cause financial hardship and that the few dollars a month you might save on a premium could cost you dearly when insurance is needed.
Nationwide has a niche with commercial insurance and this is something that Sean uses to his advantage with this commercial banking background.
In his spare time you can probably catch Sean, Heather and his daughters on the slopes in the winter or Sean is always volunteering his time and services in the community with Alive at 5, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, and Tourism Council.
If you are looking for insurance or just want a policy review, make sure you give Sean a call.
