ENJOY THIS EPISODE:
Lisa Whidden shares her passion for fashion and western boots in her year old downtown Frederick shop Whidden Willow.
Lisa’s love of Western Boots started at a young age as she attended rodeo’s in Florida. Although the horses caught her attention it was the boots that really caught her eye. Through the years that love has become stronger and when the opportunity presented itself to open her own shop in the Spring of 2014, with the support of her husband and daughters, she jumped.
Whidden Willow is a beautiful little boutique that is big on style. Located at 23 E. Patrick Street in historic downtown Frederick, MD. At Whidden Willow you will learn how to blend modern with western charm to achieve that sophisticated edgy look. We carry many great clothing lines for women as well as beautifully hand crafted western boots for women AND men.
Lisa, having grown up in the area decided that Frederick was the ideal location for her venture and the support throughout the downtown business community has been amazing. The First Saturdays in hosted by the downtown business partnership have had a positive influence on her business and she is grateful to be involved in such a business friendly event
