Knowing the hard-work, dedication, and commitment it took to run your own business, Katrina was not overwhelmed as she comes from a family of hard-workers having grown up on a farm in Middletown. Katrina graduated from Middletown High School in 1994 and then attended college at Hood College. Then continuing her education to get her law degree. She passed the boards on her first try.
Katrina returned to her roots in Frederick after law school at University of Baltimore School of Law. She joined the ranks as a settlement attorney and quickly gained a reputation as someone who would do what it took to make sure her clients needs were met. After 10 years of working for someone else the opportunity presented itself for Katrina to put her stamp on her own company. Taking over Signature Settlements in 2012, Katrina, an attorney herself, tweaked the name adding ‘Lawyers’ to the title.
Three years later, Katrina has seen the ups and downs of running your own business and being a successful Entrepreneur. She still finds time for her boyfriend Garrett and her beloved dog Dozer. She is an avid gardener and enjoys spending time renovating her home in Middletown.
