Angela grew up in a small town in Sonoma County, north of San Francisco. She has extensive expertise as an online marketing consultant, social media expert and she’s the owner of Bearly Marketing.
Angela Lists 4 Ways Your Business Will Benefit With Bearly Marketing
- Bearly Marketing Will Take Social Media Tasks Completely Off Your Plate!
Entrepreneurs and their work forces can focus on other tasks while trusting that their social media and online marketing needs are in expert hands.
- Very Affordable Professional Social Media Management Is Key
Cheaper isn’t always better. “Cheap social media can be spammy. It can have lots of typos. It can be off-message. It can just be really poor.” Bearly Marketing is the affordable, professional alternative.
- Help Your Brand Have an Identity and a Social Voice
Convey the personality and the message of your brand through social media management. A company that is simply posting content and writing blogs might not represent your company or appear seamless.
“We focus on making that transition, from them to us, very seamless and professional.”
- Our Availability!
“I may have over 100 clients but I’m always available to talk. I’m in the office pretty much 7 days a week. I respond to emails very quickly. I’m always interested in feedback and ideas.”
“We’re a very friendly, real, living, breathing agency that will be there to help, anytime.”

Angela migrated to LA when she was about 20 years young. She worked long hours in sales at a custom furniture shop, where she met her future husband – he was the owner of the company!
They were married in May, after 12 years together. “I’m a newlywed,” says Angela. “Besides enjoying spending time with my husband, we have two little dogs. One is little, wild and greedy; the other is very slow and a little bit fat. They make a great duo. They’re my best buddies.”
A Career Beyond Sofa Company
Angela didn’t have a clear vision for her career path after leaving Sofa Company. A year after moving on, she tried freelancing. “It’s a great way to make money. You kind of work for yourself, independently, but you’re able to utilize your talent.”
After spending some time doing freelance writing, Angela realized she didn’t like that very much. “Writing is very hard because when you write a hundred words, there’s at least a hundred mistakes you can make. It’s a lot of pressure.”
Then, someone approached Angela with the opportunity to manage a Pinterest account. It turned out to be a natural niche for this social media guru. She went on to secure more accounts with her expertise and Bearly Marketing was born!
One year later, there are over 110 clients! They’re all served by a dedicated team who are specialists in various aspects of social media management. There are campaign ‘content’ managers, platform-specific specialists and account specialists who oversee it all.
Angela sits at the helm and is the contact person for the accounts. She doesn’t waste any time in recalling the biggest challenge she’s encountered so far. “Just not letting the setbacks become huge, negative things and just taking each thing in stride.”
She quickly adds, “When you’re the point of contact for over a hundred clients, obviously not every little interaction is going to be good. Having to be the only person who is responsible for that can bring you down. But, I just try to remember all of my really good clients, remember the positives and keep my head up.”
Happy 1st Anniversary Bearly Marketing!
Her four full-time employees recently surprised her with a little gift and a card that held personal messages about how much she means to them. What does that mean to her?
“It’s really powerful when you realize that you’re bringing people into something that didn’t exist and you’re giving them a job. Think about how important someone’s job is to them. It’s where they spend the good majority of their time.”
“To be able to not only employ them in a job that they love but they also look at me with respect and love…that’s just…what could be better?”
If she could go back to the start and do it all over again, Angela admits she definitely would have hired more people a lot sooner. She would go back about six months and say ‘Hey, Smarty! Maybe you can’t do everything! Maybe you should hire somebody!” She hired a salesperson a month ago.
“I was the point of contact for all my clients…and, the Creative Director of the company….and, the Owner…and, I was doing all the sales myself, too, which means I literally talked to every single prospect! I was on the phone 4-5 hours a day, in addition to all of my other responsibilities.”
The E-Myth by Michael Gerber Is A Must Read!
“Each business owner is three people: the entrepreneur, the technician and the manager. The technicians think they can just do everything themselves, keep their heads down and can’t possibly imagine hiring anybody to take over any of their jobs.”
After reading that, Angela knew she had to hire a salesperson ‘right now’! “The impact that has had on my business and the way that I feel and my peace of mind has been life-altering! That book literally changed my business.”
